Dallas developed the Uptown
section while revitalizing the State Thomas Historic
District and it is home to many blocks of brownstone type homes adjacent
to the stately Victorian and early 1900’s homes of the historic district.
Transportation is by electric trolley restored from the early 20th
century which travels down charming brick streets and goes all the way to the West Village shopping mecca with the Magnolia Theater
and a mix of retail and residential. Patio dining is very popular and the
people watching is spectacular! The newest addition to Dallas
culture and ambiance, the Performing
Arts Center is accessible by the new Klyde Warren Park over
Woodall Rogers Freeway and within easy walking distance. This area boasts
one of the world’s largest collections of contemporary award winning
architecture. It is truly impressive and puts Dallas firmly on the world stage.
