The historic Warwick Melrose Hotel majestically sits on the corner of Cedar Springs and Oak Lawn, and is the gateway to the  exhilarating Cedar Springs strip, which is open all hours, and is always full of lots of people on the street having fun.  Many outdoor bars allow for great people watching! One of Dallas’ major landmarks, the beautiful Oak Lawn Park is a huge greenspace bordered by Turtle Creek and the Katy Trail.  The Trail, a huge attraction, is a defunct rail line converted to  dedicated walking and riding trails with no vehicles and no intersections running all the way from Highland Park to Victory Park.
